The Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) has published the July 2019 Housing Market Statistics. From the compiled data posted I would like to show you some highlights from Caledon, Toronto West, and Simcoe.

Peel: Caledon Market Market Statistics

July 2019 vs. July 2018

The number of active listings in Caledon increased by 2.14% in July 2019 over the same month in 2018. The number of listings that came on the Toronto Board in July 2019 vs. July 2018 increased by 47 homes or 35.34%. The number of homes sold increased by 39 homes or 56.52%. The average days on the market decreased from 36 days to 27 days. Average sale prices were up by 3.69%.

Year to Date 2019 vs. Year to Date 2018

The number of homes listed in Caledon, year-to-date increased from 1,140 to 1,274, which is an increase of 11.75%. The number of homes sold increased by 74 homes or 14.15%. The average days on market increased from 29 to 30 days. Average sale prices were up by 1.01%.

July 2019 Market stats are out for the Toronto West area, here is a great infographic summarizing some key data points:

📈 The average sale price year to date is $794, 228 – up 4.49% year to date.
📈 The number of sales year to date is up 9.82% for a year to date total of 5312 homes
📈 The average days on the market is 19 that is down by 5% year to date.
📈 The total active residential listings are 1265 and that is down by 11.45%
📈 The total number of properties sold in July 2019 was 829

TREB has published the market statistics for June 2019 – here are the New Tecumseth numbers:

July 2019 vs. July 2018

The number of active listings in New Tecumseth decreased from 244 to 236 homes or 3.28% in July 2019 over the same month in 2018. 9 more listings came on the Toronto Real Estate Board in July 2019 vs. July 2018 which is an increase of 7.50%. The number of homes sold increased by 7 homes or 9.09%. The average days on the market decreased by 4 days, from 45 days to 41 days. Average sale prices were up by 21.76%.

Year to Date 2019 vs. Year to Date 2018

The number of homes listed in New Tecumseth, year-to-date decreased by 8 homes or 0.87%. The number of homes sold increased by 60 homes or 14.22%. The average days on the market remained the same at 37 days. Average sale prices were up year over year by 4.34%.
